Took a road trip up to Monterey, San Francisco, Napa, Fremont, San Jose, Santa Cruz, Carmel, back to Monterey, Big Sur, down the coast, Paso Robles, and cut across on Hwy 58 to get to the 5.

Visited friends along the way, went to some nice wineries, got to see some great sceneries, played good samaritain for a flipped truck, drove on some really awesome roads, got lost a few times (that's the funnest part of a roadtrip....except when running low on fuel...which really happened...Long story.)

Love the roads out there. Had a blast.....but glad to be home after 6 days. Lots of stories and good times.

Only took a few pics....sorry.

Enjoy!

Really nice pix! Did you wash the car during the trip to remove those grasshoppers or is that how it looked when you got back home? Ewwwww

Looks like you had a great time!

Re: Grasshoppers
Nope, picked those grasshoppers up on the 58 going to the 5 to get home. Then had to find a co-op car wash with the power sprayer to get those suckers off. I still need to take off the plastic grll to get to the radiator with tweezers. That is a project for next week. Along with many other projects for the Datsun. I think I'm busier now than when I was working. Geez.

Love the Mystery Machine! That dirt road looks like the one Matthew my sis and I 4-byed on the last years trip to Cambria with WCM. It was called Naciamento.
